Hi everyone,

So I've had a lot of email recently asking me to do some more videos reviewing the newer Instant Pot models as some of those I recommend are no longer available in some countries, including here in the UK. I think most of you know that this constant change in Instant Pot models is an endless source of frustration for me 🙄 but it is what we seem to be stuck with, so I've taken advantage of the recent Amazon sale to get two new models to review for you.

The first is that beautiful little Instant Pot Mini shown above. Slightly larger than the old mini at 3.7 litres, 4 quart. I'm working on a series of 3 videos for that one first so if you have any questions about it, please hit reply and send them into me so I can try and cover them in the video.

After that I'll move on to the new Instant Pot Pro Wifi (which I think is Pro Max or Ultra in the US) I'm not sure I personally want wifi on my Instant Pot but I have seen lots of experienced Instant Pot users really enjoying it, so it will be interesting to find out ! Again, if you have questions about that one, please do send them in to me. It's not yet out of the box but I will do a review on that as soon as I can.

With that and an impending house move before Christmas, it is going to be a busy time in the cooking and calm household. I better make sure I have a couple of marmalade sandwiches in my hat 🤔

3 Instant Pot Recipes with a fish theme

2 Cooking Tips

🦐 If you like bouillabaisse, or fish stew, you'll know how important the stock is to get a good result, but did you know that you can use your Instant Pot to prepare it? Just prepare your fish stock in the normal way, use about a third less liquid and pressure cook for 5 minutes then natural release. Strain and you just might have the perfect fish stock!

🍅 For the simplest fish lunch ever, I like to use my air fryer. Just take a fish steak and place it on a sheet of foil, add a little butter or olive oil, slice of lemon and some tomatoes, and olives. Seal up your parcel and get it into the airfryer at about 170c 330F. Depending on the size of your fish steak, it will be ready to eat in around 15 minutes. Just time to cut up some lovely sourdough to go with it 😋
